You can go for a walk for 30 minutes to an hour every alternate day, start taking a walk every day after you feel you are comfortable. Moreover, walking will burn your calories and you can get fresh air when you go out.

After you have done some cardio, start focusing on stretching before doing other strenuous workouts. You need to do leg stretches as you will be doing more walking and running. If you used to do kegel exercises during pregnancy then continue doing the same as this will make your pelvic floor muscles strong.

Do More Outdoor Activities

When the sun is not high go out and do some outdoor activities. As this will make you slim as well as de-stress you. Try walking in a quiet place that is close to nature. This will help your body to relax since your hormones are sluggish resulting in mood swings. Jogging is good and is more intense than walking. Put on your running outfit, your headphones and start jogging. Also if you have friends then they can also join you.

It is essential to go for qualified pre and post-pregnancy training. Do not blindly follow a celebrities’ workout instead do what is right for you. Listen to your body as everyone has a different recovery speed after pregnancy. Even if you were training in an advanced gym before pregnancy, you will have to start with the basics to get back that strength. Take more rest to recover as your body needs at least six weeks to recover from childbirth.
